Wow, what could go wrong over 40+ years of working in the workforce. All your bosses will be super lovely, the companies you work for will appreciate your hard work, and social security benefits will only get better with time.

Stop dreaming, and let’s talk about something we can really affect—our income streams. That’s right; we can build our own income stream separate from jobs. However, 95% of us cannot handle this kind of responsibility.

You actually have to read, learn, and perform. You need to spend your free time building your knowledge, interacting with your income stream, and growing your wealth.

You also have to respect your money, stop buying dumb, expensive stuff, and live below your means. It doesn’t sound fun, does it? That’s okay; your personality drives you to work for 40+ years and retire on $3,000/month income. There’s nothing wrong with that.

My goal is $200,000/year of passive income by age 55. I am 40 years old right now, and I am getting close to these numbers. So what’s your motivation to build passive income?
