LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – The goal of the Heroic Leadership Workshop held in Lima Thursday was to help individuals become a better version of themselves. Dozens of local business people and professionals gathered to deepen their understanding of themselves and learn how to push themselves to the next level.
Allen Lima Leadership partnered with Heroic Leadership to offer this program, aimed at ALL alumni and others in the region seeking self-improvement. Attendees expressed their satisfaction with the workshop and the valuable lessons it provided.

Demi Burden, from Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, shared her thoughts on the event.
“We’re really touching on what you want most out of your life, how to become the best version of yourself, how to have more energy to become the best version of yourself, and what you need to challenge yourself with or stop doing, or what habits you need to take out of your routine to be able to become that best future version of yourself,” Burden said. “So it’s really cool.”
Mark Bagley, superintendent of Van Wert City Schools, also found the workshop impactful.
“We’re learning all about how to find out about yourself,” Bagley said. “A lot of times leadership, we think about others, but we’re also learning about ourselves, our personality type, and we’re learning about how we can become better communicators, better listeners, and better team players.”
