Up to this day, among the fans of Taijiquan was the view that this art form is a form, consisting of exercises performed at a slow speed and in a constant pace, as well as in the smooth transition from one movement to another. Recently, however, it became known that the Yang family was also actively practiced the form of Xiao Jia («Small Frame”) or Kuaijia («Fast Form”). Sometimes it is also called a warfare form. This book is devoted to a detailed description of the fast form of the Taijiquan Yang style – Kuaijia. This form was practiced and taught to their disciples by such great masters of Taijiquan as Yang Banhou and Yang Shaohou.
